SpeechMate is an interactive digital media recorder for use in language and speech training. Using native language audio and video materials, students are able to watch and listen to a Master Program Track while simultaneously recording their own voice for comparison.

In a classroom setting, the instructor has the option of controlling all student SpeechMate modules or letting students work individually at their own pace.

Lesson preparation is a snap with Speechmate. Audiovisual materials are easily enhanced with subtitles, and exercises to test student proficiency and comprehension.

Interacting with SpeechMate is easy. The software contains many powerful features to enhance conversation and comprehension skills. Students can adjust the speed of the Master Program Track without affecting the speaker’s voice pitch. Bookmarks make it easy to jump to frequently used passages for continued practice.
