In
the
late 1990's, computer technology reached a level where
traditional analog language lab systems could be replaced by
computer software. Analog lab functions like intercom,
all call, student recording, student monitoring, grouping
and pairing could finally be accomplished on a standard
computer network. All the extra hardware and cables
required in analog labs could be done away with. Linguatronics was the first
to venture into the field of digital language lab
systems with Genesis.
Genesis is a virtual meeting place where courses are taught,
students interact, and progress is gauged. By
accomodating face-to-face interaction while in a digital
virtual environment, Genesis provides the best of both
worlds - human interaction and collaborative digital
technology.
Genesis has evolved
into the premier digital language training system on the market.
Customers worldwide enjoy the unique features and economical
price-points offered in the Genesis system. Many customers
have installed four or five Genesis labs for the cost of a
single, traditional hardware-based lab. Please take some time to review the system and see why so many
institutions worldwide are choosing Genesis.
